TECHIE :     Audio CD Ripping Revelry…

WOW, I’m finally becoming aware of the “piratechnology” capabilities of a personal computer! It was late last night while I was singing to the tune of my favorite songs doing the usual rounds in front of my beloved PC. I would find out later that with the “Copy from CD” feature of the Windows Media Player can actually RIP OFF audio tracks from any music cd (original or pirated) and store exact softcopies of said track into the PC (in the form of *.wma files). I know I kinda discovered this a bit late coz I was really not into music jamming myself. Straight away I ripped of 6 of my favorite albums and proceeded to store their PC-compatible tracks into my thumbdrive. The following morning, I uploaded said files into my agency’s network server for file sharing and retained copies into my workstation’s hard disk for backup. My colleagues sure did like my collection. Maybe I should start creating profit from this rather convenient entrepreneurial stint eh?

LOVESTRUCK :     Badabeem-Badaboom Batmobile!

I have yet to watch Christopher Nolan’s “Batman Begins” and here I am, having wet dreams of me sitting beside The Batman in his Batmobile. Don’t get me wrong dudes, I’m not SALIVATING on the gorgeous physique of the Batsuit nor the fleshy beefcake actor Christian Bale underneath it. What stimulates me is the fact that I’m inside a real customized military vehicle. As I have researched, the 2005 Batmobile is an actual stunt vehicle that is a cross between a Humvee Transport and a Lamborghini Murcielago Coupe. Awesome isn’t it? Imagine the best of both worlds, the assault and defense capabilities of a military vehicle and the aerodynamics and speed of a sports car…

With the 2005 Batmobile, I can blast my way through the horrendous traffic of Metropolitan Manila and still get the attention of every pedestrian along the way. If I’m not decimating most of the undisciplined public vehicle drivers with my array of deadly weapons, I’m picking up classy hookers and sexy chicks while doing the usual runs on prestigious hotel lobbies. And oh yeah, I almost forgot; the 2005 Batmobile has not only the standard driver and passenger seats but also a driver’s slot in the middle for ATTACK mode. Hmmm… I wonder what kind of ‘attack’ will I be doing if there are three of us inside this fascinating vehicle? Does “Ménage Trois” ring a bell?
